Mohammed’s Encouragement to Tornadoes Players Following Loss to Doma United

After their defeat to Akwa United, Niger Tornadoes interim head coach Majin Mohammed has advised his team to look ahead.

The Ikon Allah Boys were beaten 4-1 by their opponents during Wednesday’s match.

Addressing the players, Mohammed emphasized the importance of shifting their focus to the upcoming game against Doma United.

Reflecting on the previous match, he noted, “Our performance in Uyo fell short of our capabilities, impacting the final score significantly.”

Following the disappointment of the midweek outcome, Mohammed acknowledged, “We may have not met expectations on that occasion, but setbacks are part of the game. What matters now is the chance we have in the next game to rectify our mistakes.”

Encouraging a forward-looking approach, he added, “Let’s put the past behind us and concentrate on the crucial match against Doma United, a game we must win.”

Niger Tornadoes are gearing up to face the Savannah Tigers in a pivotal matchday 31 clash at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday.

Currently positioned 10th in the standings, the Minna side has accumulated 39 points from 29 matches.
