Joy Ebere Ekekwe, a 26-year-old business entrepreneur from Igbera in Bende local government of Abia state, has been crowned as the winner of the 11th season of Miss Tourism Nigeria. She is a financial consultant and entrepreneur with degrees in Mass Communication and Business Management. She surpassed over 300 hopefuls to reach the final six in a fierce competition.

The competition focused on more than just beauty and catwalk, testing the contestants’ skills in various aspects of life including cooking, physical fitness, and their understanding of Nigeria’s diverse cultures.

At the RushingTap Studios Lekki, Joy emerged victorious and claimed the coveted crown among other Tourism Ambassadors.

As the winner, Miss Joy will represent Nigeria at the 2023 Miss World Tourism competition in Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 20th – 30th. Additionally, runners-up will represent Nigeria at other international pageants.
