Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is placing his trust in Thomas Partey to make a significant impact on the Premier League title race.
Despite facing several injuries, the Ghanaian midfielder has featured in only four league matches this season.
Partey is set to join the Gunners’ squad for the upcoming game against Sheffield United on Monday.
Arteta is eager to pair Partey with the club’s record signing, Declan Rice.
Rice, who transferred to Arsenal for a fee of £105m in the summer, previously played alongside Partey in midfield during the Community Shield victory against Manchester City in August.
According to Arteta: “Observing their chemistry and qualities on the field will be crucial, along with the necessary adjustments to ensure they maximize each other’s strengths.”
