#MeToo founder, Tarana Burke details her partner’s ‘scary’ Coronavirus battle

Tarana Burke, the American civil rights activist and founder of the Me Too movement, has disclosed that her partner has been diagnosed with Coronavirus.

 

At the age of 46, Burke shared her partner’s “scary” battle with the disease through a detailed Twitter thread in an effort to assist others amidst the ongoing global pandemic.

 

She revealed that both she and her partner were exposed in mid-March, and even though her test results came back negative, her partner’s test was positive for Coronavirus.
