President Bola Tinubu extends his warm wishes to all Nigerians on this year’s Christmas celebrations, emphasizing that this season holds special significance for every citizen.
In a personal statement issued on Sunday, the President urged Nigerians to think of the sacrifices being made by the armed forces in ensuring the protection of lives and properties.
He said, “As you celebrate this season, please take a moment to remember and pray for the men and women of our nation’s armed forces who carry out their duties on our behalf to ensure our safety. May God protect them and reunite them with their families.”
The president also highlighted that 2023 has been a period of “transformation and relentless change” for both the nation and its citizens.
Tinubu assured that his administration would continue to implement measures to alleviate the burdens faced by the most vulnerable Nigerians.
He also stated that the administration is committed to addressing the current challenges affecting the entire nation.
