Meghan Markle’s Legal Threat Over Canada Hiking Photos with Baby Archie

Meghan Markle has taken a stand and is prepared to take legal action following the unauthorized photographs of her and Archie, along with their dogs, taken while they were on a hike in Canada.

These photos were circulated online and have met with strong disapproval from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Legal representatives for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a cease and desist letter on Tuesday, January 21 to British media outlets, warning of impending legal proceedings should they choose to publish or procure the images of Meghan, Archie, and their two pups during their walk on Vancouver Island.

The letter strongly suggests an imminent lawsuit considering that the photos are already in public circulation. Several media platforms shared the contentious images on Monday and have retained them to this day.

In the cease and desist letter, it is stated, “There are serious safety concerns about how the paparazzi are driving and the risk to life they pose,” clearly alluding to the tragic demise of Princess Diana while evading the paparazzi in Paris.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allege that the photographer responsible for the images was clandestinely positioned in the bushes, spying on Meghan. They further claim that photographers have stationed themselves with telephoto lenses near their residence on Vancouver Island.

Back in their home country, the Royals are protected by stringent privacy laws, safeguarding them from being photographed in public settings unless during official engagements. However, since they are currently residing in Canada, these regulations may not necessarily apply there.
