Marouane Fellaini, Former Manchester United Star, Hospitalized After Testing Positive for Coronavirus

Marouane Fellaini, formerly of Manchester United and Everton, has been diagnosed with coronavirus and is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in China, where he currently plays in the Chinese Super League.

Fellaini, who transferred to Shandong Luneng FC from Manchester United last January, returned to China on Friday to rejoin his club and has since tested positive for the virus.

On Sunday afternoon, Fellaini took to his Instagram page to announce his diagnosis with the disease.

In his Instagram post, he stated, “Dear friends, I have been tested positive for coronavirus. I am currently back in China and receiving treatment in the hospital. I want to assure you all that I am doing well. I appreciate the support from the fans, medical staff, and the club. I will undergo treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible. Everyone, please stay safe ❤️❤️❤️.”
