Confirmation has come from Manchester United that one of their defenders, Leny Yoro, has undergone foot surgery.
Following a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the USA, the 18-year-old sustained an injury.
Yoro, who recently joined United from Lille for a fee of £52 million, will now face a spell on the sidelines for approximately three months.
He was spotted post-game on crutches, with his left foot secured in a protective boot.
