Manchester United to Face Crystal Palace Without Bruno Fernandes

Due to injury, Manchester United will have to do without their captain, Bruno Fernandes, in the upcoming match against Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

Mason Mount will step in to replace Fernandes in the starting lineup.

This marks the first time in his career that the Portugal midfielder has been sidelined for a club game due to injury, according to Transfermarkt.

Prior to this, Fernandes missed one game each for Sampdoria and Manchester United due to illness, and he was absent for two games while on international duty with Portugal.

With 520 club games under his belt, the 29-year-old has been a key player throughout his career.

Heading into the match, Manchester United currently sits in eighth place with 54 points, vying for a spot in the Europa League.
