Manchester United set to acquire another Brazilian midfielder for Ten Hag

Initiating discussions with Nottingham Forest, Manchester United is in the process of securing the services of Brazilian midfielder Danilo.

The Red Devils are looking to strengthen manager Erik ten Hag’s squad, particularly in midfield, following the summer signings of three defenders (Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui) and one striker (Joshua Zirkzee).

Having already acquired Brazilian midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid in 2022, Manchester United is now eyeing Danilo due to his impressive form and £34 million valuation, as reported by TNT Sports.

Ten Hag’s team is currently evaluating their options to secure the 23-year-old midfielder.

If Danilo joins Manchester United, it may signal the departure of Christian Eriksen, who has been made available for transfer with Anderlecht showing interest in the former Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan player.

With Eriksen approaching the final year of his contract with United, the club is eager to capitalize on his sale.
