Manchester United secures deal with 16-year-old Nigerian striker Shola Shoretire

Manchester United has secured a deal with young Nigerian striker Shola Shoretire, solidifying his future with the club at Old Trafford.

 

Shola, who is eligible to represent Nigeria and England, has signed scholarship forms with Manchester United until the next year when he turns into a professional player for Man United. He turned down the approaches of numerous European clubs that sought his signature.

 

Before the start of this season, Shoretire was fully promoted to United’s U18 team and has participated in 12 matches in the U18 Premier League.
