Regarding the Premier League title race, midfielder Bernardo Silva from Manchester City recently stated that they no longer consider themselves the frontrunners.
In an interview with Sky Sports following their goalless draw against Arsenal over the weekend, Silva expressed his thoughts.
Currently positioned in third place, City remains three points adrift of table-toppers Liverpool and one point behind Arsenal.
Silva remarked, “Following this match, we must face the reality that we are no longer the favorites for the title. The situation is now out of our control – it relies on the performances of Arsenal and Liverpool.”
Next up for City is a Premier League clash against Aston Villa scheduled for midweek.
