Man Utd signs Ugarte for €60 million

Confirmation has arrived that Manchester United has finalized the acquisition of the talented Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte, in a deal valued at a staggering €60 million.

Renowned Italian transfer news analyst, Fabrizio Romano, has verified the completion of the deal through a recent post, affirming it as a “done deal.”

“The transfer of Manuel Ugarte to Manchester United has been officially sealed, following the agreement on personal terms back in July.

“The comprehensive deal comprises a fixed fee of €50 million alongside an additional €10 million in add-ons, establishing the ultimate financial package.

“Ugarte will imminently journey to Manchester, having expressed his sole desire to play for United… a sentiment reciprocated by the club. It’s a done deal.”

This proclamation materialized following weeks of negotiations, during which Super agent Jorge Mendes visited England for talks with Man Utd regarding Ugarte’s potential transfer.

Throughout the summer, the Red Devils have engaged in discussions with Paris Saint-Germain, as manager Erik ten Hag seeks to reinforce his midfield resources ahead of the forthcoming season.
