Man Breaks Both Arms of One-Year-Old Baby Girl Because She Wouldn’t Stop Crying

Unable to soothe the crying 18-month-old baby girl, Connor Brown, 22, resorted to breaking both her arms.

This brutal act occurred as Brown had the child on his lap and she started crying uncontrollably. In an attempt to silence her, he forcefully pulled her arms behind her, resulting in the bone-breaking.

The child’s mother, who witnessed the incident at their home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, initially gave a false account of the incident to medical personnel, but later confessed that Brown was the perpetrator.

Medical examination confirmed that both of the child’s humerus bones had been fractured. Although she has since recovered, she had to wear plaster casts on both arms for several weeks.

Brown initially denied being at the house when questioned by the police, claiming that he had a fit or seizure and was unaware of the child’s injuries. However, he later admitted to the assault in court.

The prosecutors rejected Brown’s defense that the injuries were caused by his medical condition, and a further legal hearing is scheduled.
