After months of investigation, Nigeria Police Force announced the arrest of Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Mandi, suspected to be the brains behind the heinous Abuja-Kaduna train assault that shook the nation in March 2022, according to a report by The Will on Thursday.
Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna State, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest and mentioned the recovery of 48 AK-47 rifles in connection with the case. Adejobi also mentioned that efforts are underway to unveil the identity of the individual or group backing and supplying arms to Abdullahi.
