An eerie story shared on Twitter unveiled how a Nigerian woman found out that her partner was a spirit.
The woman had been cohabiting with the man and had three children with him.
However, her curiosity about his family led to a shocking revelation. After avoiding the topic for a while, the man eventually left a note with his address for her.
She travelled to his village and discovered that he had passed away two years before their first child was born.
Peace Igho shared the story on Twitter, stating:
“This woman in my area just discovered that her husband of years is a spirit! They have 3 kids! Jesus Christ! She got pregnant for him while they were dating. Then they moved to my area. He bought a land and built a house. His neighbors said he doesn’t speak to anyone except his family and he always walks alone. So now after 3 kids, she started demanding aggressively to see his family. He said they were in the village and that he would take her there. He then gave her lots of money to go to the market to buy things they would take home to his family. She opened his wardrobe and it was filled with money. She took the money and left with the kids, putting the house up for sale.”
“I guess I mistakenly deleted a tweet where I mentioned that when she got back from the market, she found a note he wrote apologizing for his absence and sharing his address in the village. She traveled to the east with the kids, located his house and explained who she was, but they said it wasn’t possible because he died 2 years before she gave birth to their first child. They showed her his grave. I don’t know how I missed this part. I swear I tweeted it.”
