Mohamed Salah, the star player for Liverpool, has identified the fastest player in the team.
Known as one of the quickest wingers globally, the Egyptian believes that Darwin Nunez currently holds the title of being the fastest player among the Reds.
As part of a video for Liverpool’s social media team, the players were asked Olympics-themed questions.
In response, Salah confidently stated, “In a 100-meter sprint, my pick would be Darwin!”
Teammate Cody Gakpo also chimed in, saying, “In a 100-meter sprint, I would definitely put myself in the mix.”
Nunez made his move to Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 and has since impressed, scoring 33 goals in 96 appearances for the Anfield club.
