Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen will require European heavyweight clubs to make a staggering €100m payment for his signature.
The 21-year-old Edo native has scored 18 times in 38 appearances in all competitions in 2019/2020 and has been linked to clubs such as Liverpool, Barcelona, and Arsenal, all in need of strikers.
According to French magazine, Le 10 Sport, Liverpool, who inquired about Osimhen’s services, have been informed that they will need to submit an offer of €100m (£92.8m) to secure Victor Osimhen from Lille in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Osimhen’s contract at Lille runs until the summer of 2024, but it is currently unclear when the next transfer window will open due to the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the world.
