Lee Sharps Suggests Unai Emery as Potential Replacement for Ten Hag at Man Utd

Former Manchester United player, Lee Sharps, has expressed his preference for ex-Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery to take over from Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s future at Man United has been cast into doubt due to the team’s underwhelming performances this season.

Currently, Manchester United find themselves outside the Premier League top four, trailing behind clubs such as Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

Speaking in a recent interview with DAZN, Sharps stated:

“In the scenario where Erik ten Hag departs, my top choice would be Unai Emery.

“With the right support and backing, I believe he could replicate the success he achieved at Aston Villa. He has the potential to be a top-class manager for United.”
