Hayden Springer, a well-known PGA Tour golfer, together with his wife Emma, tragically experienced the loss of their beloved daughter Sage, who battled a birth-related illness. Sage, who was born in 2020, was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 at 26 weeks of gestation. Despite the couple’s desire to fight for Sage’s life, medical advice suggested that prolonging her life would only lead to further suffering. Against the odds, Sage lived for an incredible three years before passing away on November 13, 2023.
Emma shared a heartfelt message about Sage, saying, “Our princess miracle girl, Sage Elyse, was eternally healed on November 13, 2023, at 7:10 pm.” She brought immense joy and happiness into our lives. Her free-spirited nature is now unrestricted by her physical form, and we believe she is embarking on the best days of her life.” Emma also requested that attendees at her burial wear pink in memory of Sage.

Hayden and Emma Springer’s daughters are Sage and Annie. Sadly, following Sage’s passing, Annie remains their only daughter. The couple, who met in college and got married in 2019, faced the challenge of Trisomy 18 with their firstborn, Sage. Despite this hardship, they provided Sage with the best care and support.
Following Sage’s journey, the couple welcomed another daughter, Annie, in October 2023, who recently celebrated her first birthday.
Emma Springer, Hayden Springer’s Wife, Is a Registered Nurse
Hayden’s wife, Emma Springer, graduated from the University of Texas Health Houston’s Cizik School of Nursing in 2020 and is now a registered nurse. They met at Texas Tech University, where both were involved in the golf program. Emma was also an accomplished golfer. Despite Hayden transferring to TCU for golf, their bond remained strong. They got engaged in August 2018 and married on August 2, 2019. Emma now focuses on her family and children.
