Latest: Arrest of Two Individuals Linked to the Killing of Adamawa Journalist


Two suspects have been apprehended by the Adamawa State Police Command in relation to the killing of journalist Maxwell Nashon.

 

Last week, Nashon, an employee of Federal Radio Cooperation of Nigeria (FRCN), Fombina FM, Yola, was abducted and murdered.

 

During a visit by the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Chris Isiguzo, the state police commissioner, Audu Madaki, verified the arrests in Yola.

“Two suspects have been arrested and are cooperating with the police in their investigations. Detectives are diligently working to ensure not only the apprehension of the perpetrators, but also their prosecution. The police will soon publicly present those involved in this appalling act,’’ he stated.
