Kwara United will compete better in NPFL next season – Titiloye


Kwara United chairman, Kumbi Titiloye has revealed the reason behind the team’s poor showing in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Titiloye said late preparations affected the team’s performance throughout the campaign.

He also pointed out that the players failed to adjust to playing on the natural grass of the Kwara State Sports Complex In Ilorin.

NewsNow recalled that Kwara United returned to their home ground at the start of the 2023-24 NPFL season after playing three seasons away from Ilorin due to unplayable conditions of their pitch.

Titiloye assured that preparations will commence immediately for the upcoming season to build on the lessons learnt from the previous season.

The Harmony Boys finished the season in 13th position.
