When asked about the reliance of Nigerian musicians on foreign platforms like the Grammys for validation, Bello shared his perspective.
He emphasized that the joy of bringing happiness to people through his music surpasses the importance of receiving any award.
Bello stated, “While awards have their significance, the satisfaction of knowing that your music brings joy to people is unparalleled.”
He further added, “Being recognized in the nomination list of a prestigious award is already a victory in itself. However, I believe in the rewards gained from commercial success rather than just awards.”
