A gathering of leaders from Nigeria’s civil society sector, representing media, academia, and non-governmental organizations, have lauded Kole Shettima, the Director of MacArthur Foundation in Nigeria, as a valuable asset for those striving towards a more prosperous society.
The accolades came during an event entitled ‘The Impact Series with Kole Shettima,’ which was recently hosted virtually by the Akin Fadeyi Foundation.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Simon Kolawole, Kadaria Ahmed, and other speakers commended Shettima for his efforts in utilizing the MacArthur Foundation to support individuals and NGOs in Nigeria, thereby championing transparency and integrity in governance.
Akin Fadeyi, the founder of the Akin Fadeyi Foundation, mentioned that ‘The Impact Series with Kole Shettima’ was not only a celebration of the anti-corruption advocate but also an opportunity for members of the civil society to come together, assess, and offer guidance on good governance and anti-corruption initiatives.
