In 2015, Gareth Sanders, a 28-year-old cleaning company manager, broke the world record for non-stop ironing by ironing around 2,000 items and continuing for nearly 100 hours.

Last year, Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, set the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), achieving an impressive time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
