During the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, Kim Kardashian appeared joyful as she had a reunion with her former step-dad, Caitlyn Jenner.
Kardashian was seen engaging in conversation with Caitlyn and her partner Sophia Hutchins.
Their faces were adorned with smiles as they embraced each other and took photos together.
This reunion follows an incident where no members of Caitlyn’s family met her upon her elimination from “I’m a Celebrity”. Kim clarified that she was not invited to Caitlyn’s exit from the show in December 2019.
After Caitlyn’s departure, there was backlash from fans who felt that her family did not treat her well. Subsequently, her son Brandon Jenner asserted that Caitlyn did not reach out to the family before the show.
Responding to a fan, Brandon stated: “Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up! I think it might have been a ‘storyline’ the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn. That’s how that kind of TV works.”
Kim also tweeted: “Exactly what Brandon said!!!! NO ONE from I’m A Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners.”
It seems that all the past tensions are now resolved as Caitlyn and Kim appeared genuinely happy to see each other at the recent event.
