The arrest of a chef in Kenya has shocked the nation. The accused, Morris Njuguna, allegedly killed his girlfriend, Ryspa Ndunge, stuffed her body into a suitcase, and dumped it in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
Ryspa’s lifeless body was discovered in a suitcase at the gate of a rental building in Ruiru. This prompted the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to launch an immediate investigation into the incident.
The DCI revealed that crucial CCTV footage has been obtained, which could aid in unraveling the mystery surrounding the 27-year-old’s death.
According to the DCI statement, the deceased had recently moved in with her boyfriend, Morris Njuguna, who was a chef at the same establishment where she worked as a cashier. The statement also mentioned the suspected discord in their relationship due to their work schedules.
The argument between the couple escalated, leading to a physical altercation and resulting in the death of Ryspa. Morris then proceeded to dispose of her body in a suitcase, which he then left outside a rental building.
Following the investigation, Morris Njuguna was arrested and is currently in custody. The DCI is still finalizing their inquiry into the incident before pressing charges of murder against him.
