The Deployment of 2,000 Personnel by Katsina NSCDC for Easter Celebration


In Katsina State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has ensured the deployment of 2,000 personnel to guarantee a peaceful Easter celebration throughout the state.

To enhance security, undercover agents have been strategically placed in crucial areas to provide prompt and valuable intelligence to deter unruly activities during the Easter festivities.

During a press briefing at the Katsina Command Headquarters, CC Jamilu A. Indabawa, the Corps Commandant for Katsina, unveiled the ‘Easter Operational Order’.

Indabawa emphasized the crucial role of unit leaders in ensuring a comprehensive security approach through efficient coordination and deployment of personnel.

Deployed personnel have been urged to maintain a high level of vigilance, professionalism, and diligence, stressing on the significance of collaboration with other security agencies to uphold safety and security in the region.

While extending greetings to the Christian community, Indabawa encouraged the public to report any suspicious individuals or activities to the nearest NSCDC office.
