Jigawa: Gov Namadi sets up mobile courts for monthly sanitation

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has established five mobile courts to prosecute individuals who violate the state’s monthly sanitation rules. The state commissioner for environment, Dr. Nura Ibrahim Dandoka, revealed this during the monthly sanitation exercise in the state capital, Dutse. He stated that the mobile courts are operational in all five emirates of the state, which include Hadejia, Gumel, Kazaure, Ringim, and Dutse.

The purpose of setting up the mobile courts is to ensure compliance with environmental and sanitation laws in the state. Governor Malam Umar Namadi actively participated in the environmental sanitation exercise alongside members of the state executive and legislative arms. The implementation of the monthly environmental sanitation policy is geared towards promoting personal and environmental hygiene in Jigawa State.

The establishment of the mobile courts was aimed at enforcing environmental and sanitation laws in the state.
