Jerusalem Hit by Multiple Blasts as Iran’s Missiles and Drones Arrive

Recent events have seen missiles and drones dispatched by Iran making their way to Israel, causing multiple explosions in the capital city of Jerusalem. This development comes on the heels of a direct assault on Israel by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Reports indicate that this attack was launched in response to the deaths of Iranian personnel and two generals earlier in the month. Israel was accused of carrying out strikes on Iran’s consulate in Damascus, Syria, resulting in the fatalities.

In anticipation of the drone arrivals, the Israeli military urged residents in high-risk zones to seek refuge in bomb shelters for their safety.

A CNN correspondent reporting from Jerusalem noted that while the drones did not directly cause any structural damage, the detonations occurred as a result of Israel’s successful interception of the drones using their aero-defense system.

It has been reported that Israel is receiving assistance from France, the US, and the UK in neutralizing the incoming drones. Israeli Army radio disclosed that over 100 drones were intercepted outside the country’s borders, with support from the US and UK.
