"It wasn’t an immediate love connection. My primary concern was the well-being of my wife after childbirth" – Noble Igwe reflects on his daughter’s 3rd birthday

Noble Igwe chose to share the story of his daughter’s birth as part of her birthday celebration.

While many parents claim to have experienced love at first sight upon meeting their newborn, Noble’s experience differed when his first daughter, Jax, arrived in January 2017.

He expressed that his main concern at the time was his wife’s welfare and her survival post-childbirth.

However, as time passed and the worst was behind them, he formed a strong bond with his daughter and developed deep affection for her.

In his tribute accompanied by photos and videos of Jax, he remarked:

BEANS
To be referred to as a father, you need to have fathered a child.
The first time I met Jax, it wasn’t love at first sight.
She was light-skinned, tiny, and beautiful, but my primary concern was the well-being of my wife after childbirth.
As days turned into weeks, we began to spend more time together. She would grasp my fingers, gaze at me, and attempt to form a smile. Yet, I constantly reminded her that I was married to a jealous woman.
Days evolved into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years.
Everyone who has encountered Jax and me can attest to the deep love she has for me.
Jax is the focal point of my entire life and the second reason why I strive to succeed.
If you’re interested, I could put together a video or pen a story about our love.
Happy Birthday, Beans
Daddy loves you immensely, but I’m certain you can sense that.
Thank you for making me a #Girldad
