Meital Dohan, 40, has revealed the details of her split from legendary American actor, Al Pacino, 79.
The Israeli actress, who was in a relationship with Al Pacino for two years, asserted that she ended things due to their significant age difference and his reluctance to spend money on her.
Confirming the end of their relationship after the actor’s solo appearance at the Oscars, Meital informed Israel’s La’Isha magazine: ‘it’s hard to be with a man so old, even Al Pacino’.
She also alleged that she broke up with The Godfather actor after two years because Pacino ‘didn’t like to spend money.’
‘The age gap is difficult, yes. Meital told the publication.
‘I tried to deny it, but now he is already an elderly man, to be honest. So even with all my love, it didn’t last,’ she said.
She also added that Pacino, whose wealth has been estimated at $180 million, only ever bought her flowers
‘How can I say politely that he didn’t like to spend money?. He only bought me flowers’, she said.
Al Pacino, who has had numerous relationships but never married, shares 18-year-old twins Olivia and Anton with his ex Beverly D’Angelo, who he dated for seven years until 2003. His eldest child is his 30-year-old producer daughter, Julie Marie, whom he had with his former acting coach, Jan Tarrant.
