Iran Denies Nuclear Cooperation with North Korea

In response to recent developments, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has dismissed any claims of nuclear collaboration with North Korea, following the visit of a North Korean business delegation to Tehran.

Addressing the issue, Nasser Kanaani, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, clarified that the delegation, led by Minister Yun Jong Ho, visited Tehran for an economic conference and emphasized that there is no basis for speculation regarding nuclear cooperation.

While rumors circulated in South Korea suggesting possible military ties between Iran and North Korea, Kanaani reiterated that such allegations have no merit.

Both countries have been subjected to stringent international sanctions due to their nuclear activities, with constant accusations of collaboration, particularly in the realm of missile technology.

Amid escalating tensions, Iran’s nuclear program has come under increased scrutiny, especially in the wake of the conflict in Gaza.

Denying any intentions of nuclear weapon development, Kanaani reiterated Tehran’s stance on the matter.
