The Lagos State Police Command has taken into custody the nurse who provided medical treatment to the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, prior to his demise.
Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, made this revelation after meeting with the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday night, the actress updated her followers on her meeting with the Police Commissioner and the progress of the investigation into Mohbad’s death.
She stated, “The police have made some arrests [in relation to Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That is what I know. That is the only information I can provide at the moment.
“They have arrested several people. They are requesting that some individuals surrender themselves.”
It can be recalled that in an interview, Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, expressed suspicion about the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to his son before his passing, suggesting that the injection may have exacerbated his son’s health condition.
Earlier, LEADERSHIP reported that the Lagos State Police Command had established a 13-member special investigation team to probe the sudden death of the singer.
