Al Merreikh’s move by Ojo Olorunleke to Sudanese club has raised questions about his future with the Super Eagles, but he dismisses any concerns.
His last game for Enyimba, the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, was against Plateau United on Sunday.
Having spent three years with Enyimba, the 29-year-old goalkeeper is now making the switch to Al Merreikh.
He recently signed a two-year contract with the People’s Elephant.
When asked about his chances with the Super Eagles, Olorunleke responded, “I don’t believe that it’s the same football.” He added, “Even where I’m going to in Sudan, I won’t say it’s better than Nigerian football, you understand?”
