At the Berger end of Lagos-Ibadan expressway, a trailer loaded with cows was intercepted this afternoon, Monday, May 4, by the Lagos state security personnel. The trailer also had around forty men from Zamfara State on board.
After the interception, the driver and the passengers were instructed to return to the state they were coming from.
Interstate travels are currently prohibited as part of measures to halt the spread of the contagious Coronavirus. Only transportation of essential goods and services is allowed between states.
