Famous Nigerian international singer David Adeleke, otherwise referred to as Davido, has fulfilled his ten thousand dollars ($10, 000) promise to the sincere hotel staff of Eko Hotel and Suites.
A video posted by Davido on his Instagram story captured the moment when the lady, known as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, poured touching praises and blessings on Davido for blessing her with such an amount.
Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary showed her appreciation for Davido’s generosity, stating she is grateful and overwhelmed by his affection for her. The hotel staff prayed for the singer’s continuous success and progress.
Davido boasts as he spends over N200 million on orphanages
A few days ago, Davido boasted about spending over two hundred million naira on orphanages throughout Nigeria.
He made this revelation in a notice on his Instagram page, where he disclosed that he had always used his platform to serve others and he is thrilled to do so.
The singer stated that his foundation, David Adeleke Foundation, had distributed two hundred and thirty-seven million naira (237, 000,000) to support the less fortunate.
Sharing the statement online, Davido revealed that the tradition of giving back to the less privileged began a few years ago on his birthday. He thanked everyone who contributed and helped transform lives, asserting that people rise by elevating others.
He wrote, “I’ve always desired to employ my platform to serve others. Grateful that, through your generosity, I’ve been able to accomplish that. We recently distributed over N200m to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago around my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your assistance, we are changing lives. This is what I mean when I say We rise by lifting others. These are words in action. God bless you all!”
