Reports have emerged claiming that British supermodel Naomi Campbell and Vogue editor Edward Enninful, who have been friends for three decades, have reportedly fallen out.

These reports surface two years after the supermodel was revealed as a contributing editor to British Vogue.

Speculation is rife about her future at the magazine, as sources suggest her collaboration with the publication may cease following her alleged clash with Enninful.

According to Daily Mail, the friction began when Campbell received the Fashion Icon award at the British Fashion Awards last month. It is reported that she was unhappy with Enninful’s level of congratulations.

A source stated, ‘Edward has the patience of a saint. As a former fashion stylist, he has worked with high-maintenance models for a very long time. He has also been very tolerant of Naomi but recently he has been telling people this is it. It seems he has had it with her and he hasn’t exactly been making a secret about it.’

Another Vogue insider mentioned that Enninful had difficulty meeting the model’s demands within Vogue’s budget. They elaborated, ‘When Naomi does a shoot, it has to be in swanky suites with cars taking her everywhere. It is very expensive having Naomi.’

However, a spokesman for British Vogue has denied any fallout and confirmed that Campbell will appear in the upcoming March issue.
