According to the chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, it is in the best interest of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, to serve as the running mate of Peter Obi in the 2023 elections.
Amid ongoing debates about potential running mates if the parties merge for the elections, Kwankwaso’s interview on Sunday, July 3, ruled out the possibility of running as the vice-presidential candidate for Peter Obi.
In a tweet posted on the party’s handle, the party chairman highlighted that it would be in Kwankwaso’s interest to run with Peter Obi, whom he described as “the man of the moment.”
