Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather has announced his asking price for his 2020 comeback, demanding $600 million to take on UFC stars Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The undefeated American, who last defeated McGregor in a lucrative bout earning him $300 million in August 2017, is preparing for a return to the ring.

Earlier this year, Mayweather hinted at a potential rematch with Conor McGregor by sharing a poster of the pair with “Mayweather vs McGregor 2 2020”.

According to Mirror UK, Mayweather is collaborating with UFC chief Dana White to determine his rematch with McGregor or a showdown with Russian UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Speaking at an event at London’s York Hall, promoted by DKM Promotions, Mayweather stated: “As we discussed on social media, there are currently two options.”

“We discussed the Conor McGregor fight, we discussed the Khabib fight. My asking price is $600 million. If I’m going to put myself at risk, it has to be worthwhile.”

“Last time we started from $250 million and went up to $300 million, and hopefully we can surpass that this year.”

Discussing the initial fight with McGregor, which he won by TKO in the 10th round, Mayweather remarked: “That was a strategic move,” he commented on his first encounter with McGregor.

“Currently, in the world of boxing, it doesn’t make sense for me to fight any ordinary boxer. I am a businessman. The Conor McGregor fight was logical. If it’s profitable, it’s logical.

“I don’t face boxers or compete with athletes who only have limited support. If I’m going to face you, your entire nation has to be behind you.

“The first fight was entertaining. It’s a business of entertainment.”
