Federal Capital Territory health officials have disinfected carelessly discarded personal protective equipment (PPE) and gloves used at Abba Kyari’s funeral at Gudu cemetery in Abuja. Acting Health Secretary Dr. Kawu, upon seeing a viral video of a man dumping his used PPE by the roadside, immediately contacted the Public Health department to dispose of the infected items properly. The cemetery officials involved have been identified, isolated, and tested for coronavirus. You can watch the video below:
