Hadejia Emir appointed as Amirul Hajj for 2024 Hajj by Jigawa Governor Namadi

Malam Umar Namadi, the Governor of Jigawa State, has given his approval for the appointment of His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Adamu Abubakar Maje, the Emir of Hadejia, as the Amirul Hajj and the leader of the Government delegation for the upcoming 2024 Hajj Exercise, according to a statement signed by Malam Bala Ibrahim, the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State.

Furthermore, the Governor has also sanctioned the appointments of Alhaji Turaki Ibrahim, Alhaji Nasidi Ali, Alhaji Habibu Ubah Ringim, and Dr. Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu as members of the Amirul Hajj Team.

The statement emphasized that the selections were made based on the strong work ethic, dedication, patriotism, integrity, and piety of the individuals. The SSG urged them to exhibit these qualities in fulfilling their responsibilities to validate the trust placed in them by both the Government and the citizens of Jigawa State.

All appointments are effective immediately.
