Following their 5-1 victory against Wolves, Guardiola shared his thoughts with Sky Sports.
City’s win narrowed the gap to Arsenal to just one point, as Mikel Arteta’s side triumphed 3-0 over Bournemouth in the early game.
City trails Arsenal by six goals in goal difference despite their dominant performance against Wolves.
Guardiola downplayed the significance of goal difference in the title race.
He stated, “Relying on goal difference is not an option; we cannot afford to draw. Arsenal’s consistent and impressive form makes it difficult.”
“We have three matches left; our aim is to secure victories in the first two and head into the final game with our fate under our control,” Guardiola added.
