The shocking case that has made headlines involves a grandmother who is facing charges for live streaming a video showing a man molesting her one-year-old granddaughter. The incident took place on a porn site and led to the arrest of the accused individuals.
Lisa Williamson, 41 years old, was apprehended by the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation last Thursday, May 7. Additionally, 19-year-old Steven Anthony Jackson, who allegedly appeared in the video, was also arrested in connection to the case.
According to authorities, the disturbing video depicted Jackson engaging in “deviant acts” with the infant, including oral sex, while Williamson recorded the footage. It was reported that the grandmother was the one responsible for streaming the video to a subscription-based porn website.
The video came to the attention of law enforcement after it was flagged by someone from a different state. Subsequently, Williamson has been charged with serious offenses including Permitting a Child to Engage in Production of Obscene Material, Sex Abuse of a Child, Production of Child Pornography, Dissemination of Child Pornography, and Possession of Child Pornography. On the other hand, Jackson is facing charges of Production of Child Pornography and Sodomy First Degree.
Both individuals are currently being detained at the Geneva County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings. The case has caused shock and outrage, prompting a swift and robust response from authorities.
