Graeme Souness calls out Salah for being ‘selfish’

Renowned Liverpool figure Graeme Souness recently expressed his opinion that Mohamed Salah is amongst the most self-centered players in the game.

During an episode of William Hill’s Three Up Front podcast, Souness also suggested that Salah might depart from Liverpool this upcoming summer.

Following a sideline dispute with manager Jurgen Klopp in the recent 2-2 draw against West Ham, doubts have arisen about the 31-year-old’s future with the club.

Souness remarked, “Salah’s level of self-interest is unparalleled in my experience. Even in the lead-up to that match, every time Klopp substitutes him, he displays dissatisfaction.”

“This is the sort of mentality you seek in your players; being upset about being taken off after scoring two goals shows a desire to continue scoring. Back when Sadio Mane was there, conflicts would arise frequently,” Souness added.
