Nasarawa State’s Governor Abdullahi Sule has put forth the name of Saleh Barde for the position of Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission.
The Speaker of the State Assembly, Mr. Danladi Jatau, revealed the nomination during a plenary session on Monday.
In a letter announcing Barde’s nomination, the Speaker also disclosed the nomination of Tafida Adamu Jibrin, Ishaku H Manji, and Bridget A. Christopher as members of the commission. 
The Speaker instructed the nominees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitaes (CVs) to the House by Friday, February 23.
They are also anticipated to appear before the House for screening and potential confirmation on Monday, February 26, 2024.
