Governor Otti Holds Meeting with Abia Monarchs, Discussing Security and Development

An assembly of over 400 traditional rulers from the 17 local government areas of Abia State took place on Wednesday, under the initiative of Governor Alex Otti.

The gathering, attended by Eze Linus Nto Mba, Chairman of the Abia State council of traditional rulers, and Uzor Nwachukwu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, witnessed the presence of numerous traditional rulers, particularly those from rural areas.

At the meeting held in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Governor Otti reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to securing all regions of the state and ensuring the well-being of its citizens.

He emphasized the importance of upholding the current state of peace in the region, highlighting that every community is included in the development plans of his administration.

In his address, Eze Linus Nto Mba, the Chairman of the Abia State council of traditional rulers, expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for the administration’s support towards traditional rulers.
