Governor Akeredolu expresses disappointment with porosity of state borders as policeman from Lagos tests positive for Coronavirus in Ondo

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has expressed his displeasure with the vulnerability of the entry points to Ondo state following the positive Coronavirus test of a policeman from Lagos state. Akeredolu described the case as unique, stating that the policeman was tested in Lagos but traveled to Ondo state while awaiting his results. He also revealed that the policeman had been traveling between Lagos and Ondo state after testing positive for the virus.

In a tweet, Akeredolu mentioned that he was disappointed with the level of porosity of the entry points to the state and stressed the need for increased security measures. He also expressed concern about the recklessness of the police officer’s actions and stated that he had contacted the commissioner of police to reinforce the security of the entry points.
