Good News: Two Coronavirus Patients Recover in Osun State

Osun state has witnessed the successful recovery and discharge of two coronavirus patients, who have tested negative for the virus twice.

 

Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, the State Commissioner for Health, shared this uplifting news in a statement on Sunday, May 24. He also confirmed two new cases of the virus in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 44.

 

Furthermore, Isamotu revealed that 34 patients have been effectively treated and discharged from isolation centers across the State.

 

The statement delivered by Dr. Isamotu reads as follows:

 

 “Today, two COVID-19 patients were discharged from our isolation and treatment centre to join their families after they tested negative for the virus. Sadly, we also recorded two new cases bringing the number of active cases in the State to four. Thankfully, they are all stable and responding to treatment.

“In total, 34 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from our isolation centres across the State out of the 44 confirmed cases in the State.”
