Super Eagles’ Victor Boniface has been recognized as one of the standout players in Germany this season by football legend Rudi Völler.
Völler commended Xabi Alonso for assembling a formidable squad that includes players like Boniface at Bayer Leverkusen.
This season, Bayer Leverkusen secured their first Bundesliga title in history, positioning themselves to potentially achieve a historic treble by reaching the final of the DFB-Pokal and the semifinals of the Europa League.
Joining the club last summer were Boniface, Nathan Tella, Granit Xhaka, Jonas Hofmann, Arthur, Matej Kovar, and Alejandro Grimaldo.
